I am ashamed of this country's government. I am disappointed in my fellow man. I am angry that animals are being abused so glibly, along with all of nature and every resource we have.
Our egos are defending themselves at our expense.
I'm going to ask you some questions I've asked myself, over and over:
What is the matter with you?
Did your mother take you off the tit too soon?
Have you no backbone at all?
Where are your manners?
Have you no compassion?
Who told you the world owed you anything?
Did Jesus die for nothing?
According to all the current evidence, you don't have enough common sense to be ashamed of yourself.
Speaking of Jesus, why all the arguing over which religion is the only one with the truth? You've allowed your religion to become something that hides you from the very spiritual being that you are. You've made it into a weapon, instead of your salvation.
You've allowed politics to become your supposed salvation. Trouble is, politicians have figured out how to give you the illusion you have a voice: one that allows you to complain, and one they can safely ignore.
Man has been called "the God who shits". You wear it like a badge of honor, yet you honor little or nothing. It's also been said, "an eagle never shits near it's own nest". And this, "never eat where you shit". You, however, shit everywhere and on everything.
How do I know all this about you? I know my own ego, and so I know yours. Our egos are defending themselves at our expense. Should I say it again?
We're out of excuses. We don't need more evidence, more debate, more anything. It's time to wake up.
We can't seem to control our own selves anymore. We have all these addictions, phobias, and habits, but we want to control the other guy. Our egos are defending themselves, at our expense.
Let me ask you one more thing:
What are you going to do with your indifference?
We are unconscious. It is time to awaken, but how to do so is a Mystery to most. It won't happen with our thoughts, beliefs, opinions, and egos in charge. Confusion and Paradox stand at the door of the Temple.
The Mystery provides the answer(s).
It is our responsibility and purpose to unpack it.
